By simply defining a trace on the map, the user can obtain a view of a cross-section and eventually select which layers to include in the section view.

Cross-sections are shown with independent scales for depth and distance, in order to make it easier to zoom in any direction.

Sahara can display the wells included in the cross-section trace, the layer names, their correlations, flow tests and the selected logs for each well.

If structural maps are available, Sahara can display the intersection of the cross-section plane with tops and bottoms.

Layer tops and bottoms can be directly defined and/or modified in the cross section window.
