Database Connectivity

Sahara can access information stored in commercial database systems by means of a configuration tool that allows the user to link project variables with the corresponding tables and columns.

Sahara can also work with local projects, disconnected from the network.

Data Import and Export

Sahara can import and export data directly to and from all classic E&P application file formats, along with a wide range of ASCII file types.

The input data for a given project can include:

  • Layer & formation structure
  • Vertical and deviated wells
  • Production history
  • Perforation and workover historical data
  • Maps, lines and contours
  • Well logs
  • Initial tests
  • PVT and petrophysical data
